Overview
You can prepare a spare computer in advance, with its database already installed, so it is ready if the main computer fails. Preparation is done on the spare computer, not on the main one. From the login screen, press Ctrl + Shift + E, enter the restore password, and the program downloads the latest cloud backup and settings file and shows when they were uploaded before you confirm. Confirming changes this computer’s database password to the main computer’s password, then restores the data, so the other cashier computers can connect with the password they already use. The main computer uploads the latest backup to the cloud every 3 hours when the internet is available and the pharmacy is registered. Local backups keep running on the schedule set in backup settings, and daily selling stays on the local database. After the restore, only one computer remains the main computer: do not open PharmaSync on the old main computer again, or the pharmacy splits into two copies.
