Overview

Mobile POS turns a smartphone into a full extra cashier without buying another computer. Open Mobile POS on the PharmaSync desktop, scan the QR code with a phone on the same Wi-Fi, then search or scan products on the phone. When you finish the sale, the order is sent to Pending on the computer. The shift, stock, and money stay in the local database. Internet is not required, and sales data is not sent to the cloud. The phone stays paired after you close the page — reopen the same link later without scanning a new QR.

Pair with a QR code

Open Mobile POS on the desktop and scan the code with the phone. Same Wi-Fi is enough.

Search by name or scan the barcode. The cart stays on the phone until you finish.

Completing the sale sends it to Pending on the computer. Stock and the shift stay on the local database.

Does the phone need internet?
No. The phone only needs to be on the same local Wi-Fi as the PharmaSync desktop. Sales stay on the local database.
Is this the same as the remote monitoring mobile app?
No. Mobile POS is a local cashier on the pharmacy Wi-Fi. The monitoring app is a separate optional feature that needs internet and does not create sales.
What happens when I finish an order on the phone?
The order is sent to Pending on the computer. A shift must be open on that desktop. Stock and the sale stay in the local database.
Do I need to scan a new QR every time?
No. After the first pairing, you can close the phone page and open the same link again without scanning a new code.
Does Mobile POS have extra fees?
Yes. Every allowed Mobile POS device has an extra fee of 1,000 EGP per year. This is in addition to the annual PharmaSync plan.
