Buying from memory fills the shelf with slow items and lets the fast one run out. Best sellers come from the invoices of a period, not from last week’s impression.
In PharmaSync, the Orders menu has Top Selling Products, Least Selling Products, and Product Movements. Use them to see what is moving and what is sitting still. The period you pick is the ranking, not a full year if you are buying for this month.
- A top seller that is short belongs on the purchase list before it runs out
- A slow seller close to expiry should not be reordered in the same quantity
- A stock count can be ordered by most sold in the last 30 days so fast movers are counted first
With a group inspector account, Group Center shows a merged top-selling report for online branches. The default is one month, the maximum is one year, and Excel export is available. Offline branches are left out.
Does best-selling mean most profitable?
Not by itself. High quantity at a weak price is not the same as a slower item with a better margin. Read value next to quantity.
