Expired medicine is a direct loss. Software does not stop an oversized purchase by itself. It stops you selling the new batch while the old one sits until it expires.
- Record the expiry with every batch when it arrives or when you count
- Let the sale take the nearest expiry first
- Review expired and near-expiry lists on a fixed day of the week
PharmaSync uses FEFO. If the same medicine has an October batch and a December batch, the sale picks October from the recorded data. Expired products are opened from Stores. Near-expiry alerts follow the periods set in the system. Damaged stock is moved out of what can be sold.
Where do I see expired medicine?
Stores → Expired Products. Near-expiry items follow the alert periods you set.
