Overview

When a customer asks for a product you cannot sell — because it is out of stock, or because it is not in your catalog at all — the counter can record it as a lost sale in a few seconds. Choose the product or type its name, add a note, and the request stays on the open list. The dashboard counts lost sales that are not archived yet. Archive a record after you have acted on it, and restore it later if you need it again. A lost sale is a demand log. It does not create an invoice, change stock, or reserve the item for that customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a lost sale change stock or create an invoice?
No. It only records the request. Stock, sales, and money stay unchanged.
What if the product is not in PharmaSync?
Type the name. You do not have to create the product first.
Can old records be hidden?
Yes. Archive a lost sale when you no longer need it on the open list, and restore it from the archive later.
